Scholarships

Membership dues help the National Capital Chapter fund college education for students from the Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland area. It is not without generous donations, membership dues, and fundraisers throughout the year that the chapter is able to contribute to a scholarship donation each summer. This year, the National Alumni Association has committed a tag match percentage of 71% to any donation received by the NCC.
Through the University of Alabama Alumni Chapter Scholarship Program, the NCC annually provides funding to the following endowed scholarships. These awards range from one-year up to four-year scholarships of variable amounts dependent upon available endowment earnings. They are typically awarded to incoming freshmen based upon academic achievement, leadership skills, and/or financial need. Please visit the University of Alabama’s National Alumni Association Scholarship page for more information.
